Its purpose was to equip youths with entrepreneurship skills as well as to give a new approach to business. A group of young entrepreneurs met in a hotel (off-site retreat) to receive a two weeks entrepreneurship curriculum training from programme facilitators before starting their businesses. The training entailed power point presentations, online videos, group discussions and team challenge games and question and answer sessions.2. To assess the effectiveness of the programme, all the participants had a short one on one interview with the trainers which were conducted in three phases. Before the training, a short survey was conducted; its aim was to find out our understanding of the programme, our needs and expectations as far as the training is concerned. The second interview was conducted after one week; it seeks to find out any challenges we had so far in the programme. At the end of the programme we were given team challenge ideas to work on; these challenges were meant to assess how we understood the basic entrepreneurial concepts and principles. A case study report on the state of entrepreneurs start ups are given after three months.3. Evaluation of a training programme requires the involvement of event organizers, the trainers and trainees before and after the programme so as to make it effective. To improve the evaluation of the training programme I would use several approaches before and after the training. First I would give trainees chance to share their strengths, weaknesses, aspirations and what they expect to gain from the training. This will improve evaluation process by helping us understanding the learners needs at the beginning as well as cross checking whether they are going to benefit at the end.Secondly, I would monitor the training process to ensure that the learners get the right information. It will help in as sisting the trainees/learners stay focused in the entire process as well as identifying those losing interest and help them get back to track. It will also help in addressing emerging issues like programme review. I may give the trainees time to give their feedback on the training as it may would help in adjusting for future trainings .It involves a short presentation, post-tests training tests group discussions or action at home plans. In this regard, we are able to get a direct feedback on the impact of the training on the trainees.
